The Rice University Centennial Celebration Exhibits Committee welcomes proposals for exhibits pertinent to the upcoming centennial, whether on topics celebrating Rice's past, present or future. All members of the Rice Community are encouraged to participate.

The purpose of exhibits is to engage various audiences vis-à-vis an interesting aspect of the University. Examples of possible exhibits are: “History of Scientific Discoveries at Rice,” “History of Undergraduate Traditions,” “Music at Rice,” and “Best Rice Jacks.”

The goals of Centennial Celebration Exhibits are as follows:

  • Build awareness of the Rice Centennial and Rice’s “story”
  • Commemorate/celebrate an important aspect of Rice
  • Involve the greater Rice community in the Centennial.
