№ 40 What do Apollo 13, Planet of the Apes and China Beach all have in common?

Rice alumnus Bill Broyles Jr. ‘66 used his Vietnam experience to create the television series China Beach, and then went on to write the screenplays for Ron Howard’s Apollo 13 and the 2001 film Planet of the Apes.
